Our County Activity Centre is an ideal place for camps, holidays, Rainbow Sleepovers and Pack Holidays under canvas. It consists of nine acres of flat grassland, is set well back from the road and surrounded by trees. |

The 2 main rooms are both fitted with carpet tiles. Heating is by gas radiators, electric wall-mounted fan heaters and thermostatically controlled wall mounted convector heaters can be safely left on at night). Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are fitted. An electric immersion heater provides hot water. |
| Ness Guide HQ
It is a large hall, wheelchair access by arrangement, with a divider which separates ⅓ of the room for leaders sleeping area and ⅔ for girls. Storage heaters keep it warm (included in the rental charge) and security lighting is fitted. |

| Wirral
The Wirral Way, a disused railway line, which is now a country walk. Burton Village – An old world village which has a Post Office and General Store. Ness Gardens - These gardens are part of Liverpool University (entrance charge). Ellesmere Port Boat Museum - has locks and narrow boats (entrance charge). Dee Estuary and Hilbre Island - The estuary is a refuge for many kinds of sea birds and basking seals. At low tide you can walk to Hilbre Island, which is a nature reserve, from West Kirby.
